SABA-DC/AAPI Happy Hour Fundraiser, Thursday, May 1, 2008
Join the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) and the South Asian Bar Association of DC (SABA-DC) for an evening of networking that will benefit Upakar, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships to Indian Americans who require additional financial assistance to pursue their educational, artistic and athletic goals.Take a moment to mix and mingle with young professionals in the area and support Upakar (
). Happy hour specials start at 6:00 PM.A recommended donation of $10 per person will be collected on admission and further donations are welcome. All proceeds will be donated directly to Upakar. Feel free to bring all your friends to support this very worthy cause!
