After the grand success of the Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) in June 2006, the World Zarathushti Chamber Of Commerce – India (WZCC– I), is organizing a similar training program – Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP).

About the Program :

This is a residential training program scheduled during 28^th April to 3^rd May 2008, and will be conducted by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), at its campus at Ahmedabad. EDI is a recognized Training Institute promoted by leading Financial Institutions. The training will be through lectures, case studies, business games, group exercises, interactions with successful entrepreneurs and industrial visits. The program will also help the trainees establish network and linkages with banks and financial institutions.

Fee : Rs. 12,500/- per participant. This includes cost of training, lodging and boarding for six days, course material and industry visits. It excludes travel expenses to and from Ahmedabad.

The Anjoman welcomes Zoroastrian visitors and tourists to Shiraz. In fact some of the facilities donated to the Anjoman, and available, are for the accommodation of Zoroastrian visitors. The available accommodations are modest, but subsidized.

Karachi Zarthosti Banu Mandal - Pakistan, was established by a group of far sighted ladies on 11th November 1912 at the residence of Mrs Goolbai Nusserwanji Mehta on Elphinstone Street now known as Zebunnissa Street. Other founders included Soonamai Phochaji Jeejibhoy, Cooverbai Maneckjee Dhalla, Dhunmai Sethna and Manijeh Hommie Mehta. KZBM was the sister organisation to the Young Men’s Zoroastrian Association, established a year earlier

The aims were:

• To educate Zarthusti ladies.
  
• To develop neighbourly feelings amongst the ladies
  
• To teach poor ladies sewing, embroidery and other skills,
• To enable them to support themselves with honesty and respect
  
• To impress upon the members the aims and sanctity of good womanhood

The ZWIN Zoroastrian Students International Network has been created by ZWIN to help Zoroastrian students world-wide, who are away from their homes, to connect with other international Zoroastrian students. It is hoped this will lead to the formation of an International Zoroastrian Student Cyber-community, as you get to know each other better.

This Network is part of ZWIN’s International Student Hospitality Project (ZISHP), which has been started to help and support Zoroastrian students, who are outside their home cities and countries and away from their own families, and offer them friendship and hospitality and connect them to local Zoroastrian communities. ZISHP has Reps in several cities. Please contact a Rep in your area. Names of Reps can be found on <ZWIN3.net>
