Padma Shri Awarded to Parsi Ghazal Singer Penaz Masani

You will be proud to know that (according to a Press Trust of India report from New Delhi) our famous Parsi Zarathushti Ghazal singer, Penaz Masani was selected to be one of the Indian artists to receive India’s fourth highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri award, for her contribution in the field of art.

Zarathushti Chambers of Commerce may consider inviting her and honoring  her at future meetings.

Penaz Masani has recorded many albums of her Ghazal songs. I have a CD of her recording and would recommend all Ghazal lovers to get a copy of her songs and enjoy the great music.
