thats all i remember further i dont know.I never liked the horible language in the song but having brought up in a parsi colony heard it during camp fires.Excuse me if the words r not correct as i was a kid then so now i donot remember properly.

Dear Percy, Thanks for your interest. The Nataks have been uploaded on Zoroastrians.net. You can find them from there. The Originals that I have, have some disturbances & humming sounds which have been removed in the Uploaded version. So that would be a better option. The links to the Nataks have been pasted herewith

Please share songs nataks or lyrics of old parsee natak songs. Love to sing them to the youngsters as did my elders to us. I had bought a tape from one of the sukharwallas near cama baug but it got spoilt. As I dont live in mumbai any more, I cant find that again. I particularly want the lyrics of “oh morarjee bhai dinkar rao desai, mumbai ma rehvu amney bhari padi gai ” and ” bhajan ma bhang padyo re mara bhai ”

Thanks a lot for this wonderful old songs collection. But can we get back the old Natak songs like – “Nagar Velio Ropav”, or “Ekaj sarkha devas sukh na”…………….. Ek pilani ladai…my mom used to sing this at Zoroastrian meets at Sholapur way back in the 60’s..Thank You..
I had copied the Natikas ‘Ek Pilani Ladai’ & ‘Jer Jeahangir No Jhagado’ from The original records, to my tape recorder & from there to a Digital Media .MP3 & uploaded it on Zoroastrian.net. for others to relish the old Parsi Natikas. Glad it got back the old memories.
