I am a professional cyclist for the last 20 years. I am selected to represent India at the SYDNEY 2009 WORLD MASTERS GAMES in cycling category to be held in Sydney Australia from 10th Oct to 18th Oct 2009.
I write to your kind selves with the sincere & humble request of seeking sponsorship to cover all my expenses (fees, airfares,accomodaton, etc.) from your esteemed organisation, which will go a long way in helping me earn laurels for our Country.
I have been a competitive cyclist since 1984 and have a proven track record.
I have participated & won in the following competitive cycling races as below.
- Represented India in the world tour of Egypt cycle championship.
- 4 times National champion.1984, 1986,1987,1991
- 8 times Maharashtra state cycling champion.1984 to 1991
- Recipient of SHIV CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI AWARD, awarded in the year 1986-87
- 2 times winner of all India Bombay-Pune cycle races.
- Current record holder of “THE KING OF THE GHATS” of 19minutes-50 seconds.
- Awarded various certificates for national cycling from 1984-1991.
I request your kind selves for sponsorship whereby the Games Center located at Sydney Olympic Park will be open from 7 October 2009. I attach further the entrance form which I have submitted.
