What makes me a Zarathushti ?

Dear All,

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Niaz Kasravi will be the speaker at the Adult Discussion Group meeting on Sunday, January 10, 2010.

Niaz was born in Iran, spent her early childhood there and migrated to the U.S. at early age. She will share with us her experience as Zartoshti child going to Muslim schools in post Islamic Revolution Iran, her growing up in the US, and her association with and activities in the Zoroastrian communities. Discussing how her decisions and experiences in her adult life and career have indeed had a lot to do with her background as an Iranian and as a Zoroastrian, Niaz will share with us her thoughts on Zoroastrian Identity in 21st century (What makes me a Zartushti?).

Please join us in greeting Dr. Niaz Kasravi at the meeting and learn what makes her a Zartushti.

Respectfully, Jamshid Goshtasbi-G. jamshidgg@yahoo.com
