The hand paintings on T-shirts is done using fabric paint.
Coffee powder is used as a medium to do hand paintings on canvas boards which are then framed.
It all began with her teenage kids. A couple of years ago, her son wanted a t-shirt which was not available in India. So, what to do? Well, she got out her paintbrushes, raided the kitchen — she specialises in painting with coffee powder — and painted the shirt herself. Hoofrish Jehangir Bisney has not looked back since. Her designs go from abstract, to patriotic, to animated characters, and she now paints on jute bags, t-shirts, stationary etc.
