A brilliant piece of literature of great value to Parsees. A must read for our youth to instill pride in our youth for our community, its history and what this community is capable of achieving. This book was written with the purpose of acquainting the Europeans about Parsees as a community and their religion, distinctly different from Hindu and Muslim but unknown to many then, as even now, in India and elsewhere. The gracious 19th century style is refreshingly beautiful reminiscent of era gone by.

culture,rites and rituals and way of life?
its “humata,hukhta,hvrashta”, which is aired on the 2nd and 4th sunday of every month on zee jagran channel.at 12 to 12.30 p.m.
its been on air since more than 4 years and is the only running program on our community on television.
dont you think we, as members of this superb community, should watch it and make our kids watch it, every sunday, without fail?
it covers our prayers, our ceremonies and rituals, with detailed explabations, and is a boon to every parsee with small kids.
we must make our children see this serial,and encourage them to follow certain simple rituals every day.
i request, nay, i exhort EVERY PARSEE on this planet, to encourage the serial and support it, in all manners possible.
