Young Leaders 8 to 18 in North America

Celebrating outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18.
The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes invites nominations for its 2012 awards. The Barron Prize, founded by author T.A. Barron is in honor of his mother, who worked for twenty years to create the “Touch Museum” of natural history at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind.
Each year, the Barron Prize honors inspiring young people who have made a significant positive difference to people and our planet. Ten winners each receive $2,500 to support their service work or higher education. Nomination deadline is April 30.
Nominees must be legal residents of and currently residing in the United States or Canada at the time of nomination.
