Little did my family know that I had heard about Mahyar since 2009 as he was interviewed in
Amordad and Beresad in Iran because he had produced a music album titled : YEK (One).
What got my attention about Mahyar is not just his talent in music but also his deep affection for our Zarathushti faith, tradition and heritage. This inspired me to conduct an interview with the hope that you will support his work and aspirations with a Zarathushti gusto.
This special interview is published in the 2011 Fall Issues of
1. FEZANA Journal, Page 100
2. Cheherenama – A Journal of the California Zoroastrian Center, Westminster, California.
I like to thank my respected friends:
Dr. Dolly Dastoor, the Editor-in-Chief of the FEZANA Journal and Past FEZANA President
and Fariba Pirghaibi, the Editor-in-Chief of CHEHERENAMA – A JOURNAL OF CZC for showcasing our Zarathushti talent to our global Zarathushti community.
In addition, Mahyar has also been interviewed by my good friend Nasrin Ordibeheshti, Past President of the Board of Directors of California Zoroastrian Center.
This interview is featured in the Fall 2011 issue of the CZC Zoroastrian Journal.
A translation in English has been beautifully done by Roya Waltman in the same publication.
The hard copies of all three publications will be available shortly for distribution
in North America.
In the meantime, Please click the following link to check out the interview in Cheherenama.

This Medley is a special treat with a three-in-one composition of his hit songs:

from his music album – ONE (YEK)
Hope you enjoy his work with the same gusto in which it is featured. We are honored to have talented youth like Mahyar in our Zarathushti community.
Thank you Mahyar for sharing the gift of your music with humanity. May your life be as special as you are to our community.
In the spirit of appreciation
