Ronnie Screwvala was a keynote speaker at the annual conference of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) on May 18, 2013,, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, in Santa Clara, California. The conference was attended by more than 3,600 people.

Ind 1993 he began developing the Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research.  A surgeon by profession, he works in Pune. His previous publications include “The Biodiversity of India.”  “
