* Ronnie Screwvala was a keynote speaker at the annual conference of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) on May 18, 2013,, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, in Santa Clara, California. The conference was attended by more than 3,600 people.

Bharucha has been active in wildlife and nature conservation for nearly 50 years. He has been a member and executive of such conservation institutions as the Bombay Natural History Society, Worldwide Fund for Nature, and Wildlife Institute of India. Ind 1993 he began developing the Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research. A surgeon by profession, he works in Pune.
