First Parsi on KBC
Dear All,
Mr. Marzi Bhesania, from Navsari, is the First Parsi ever representing the Parsi Community on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan on 15 & +16 November, at 2030 hrs (08:30 p.m.), on Sony Channel. The Show will also feature some Videos of Navsari and our Great Parsihavoc Traditions and Parsis from Navsari.

their is nothing so great in watching kaun banega karodpati instead their should be some programme where parsee girls should get married to parsi boys and the proverb should kabhi banega parsi bawa number jadaa community
I watch KBC regularly and will anxiously look forward to the first Parsee with Mr. Bachan. Enjoying all the Indian channels in the US it is surprising to see so many Parsis in the hollywood scene. Shamak Daver, Bomab Irani, Marzi Pestonji, Ronnie Screwala, Farah Khan, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal’s wife – Meher Jesia. There are some more on TV series also. Let us not forget some old timers Sorab Modi and producers Wadia brothers. At one time all the English theatres in south Bombya were Parsi owned except Metro cinema. Edward (Dhobhi talao), Palace (Byculla),and Aurora (Dadar) were owned by Bejonji Bharucha. Some more in the Grant Road area were also Parsi owned. Considering our miniscule population it is quite an achievement.
