Statements of Interest invited
The Science Museum London is planning for an exhibition on science in India (2017). This exhibition will develop the narrative through stories of twentieth century science and technology in the city of Bangalore.
Statements of interest are invited from students interested in doctoral research that can address specific aspects of the history of science, engineering, and technology in Bangalore. We are keen on histories of science and engineering practices, on histories of objects, business history, military history, international history as well as what could be called “peoples’ histories” of science and technology.
A selection of fully developed proposals will compete for the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards in the Science Museum Group. The deadline for final submission is November 28, 2014.
Please see below the call for the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards in the Science Museum Group. This scheme covers tuition and maintenance for UK citizens and fees only for EU students.
Further details from the AHRC about the scheme are found at:
Interested students are requested to submit a short statement of interest (1000 words) by 10 October 2014 to Jahnavi Phalkey (firstname.lastname@example.org).
