Surrounded by the rolling hills of Hunterdon County, Spruce Run Recreation Area is popular with picnickers, swimmers, fishermen, boaters and campers.Spruce Run is the third largest reservoir in the state. Picnicking, swimming, boating, hiking trails etc.

The park is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

We have a reserved space however; please look to arrive 10:00 AM. Some of us will try and get there early to set up for the day.

Once in the park, you will see signs to our picnic area. There is no per person admission charge, however the park charges per car based on Plate: $10 NJ Res / $20 Non – Res

Bring your favorite potluck picnic dish (enough to share with 10 – 15 people), and come prepared to have a great time!

Grills are available for cookout. ZAGNY will provide watermelon, iced tea, hot teaandcharcoal for the cookout.
