Seeking a scholar of Gujarati literature or Colonial Studies
My editorial team is seeking a Gujarati scholar or someone knowledgeable about Gujarati literary customs of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, through the 1920s. We require assistance investigating and sourcing a few passages and epigrams in the Gujarati version, newly translated and rendered into publishable English, of the biography of spiritual figure Upasni Maharaj. This research work will likely be very brief and would be paid; furthermore, this publication, which will have wide release in the West for the first time very soon, is unique in its bringing together of seemingly disparate religious and cultural traditions. It is a groundbreaking story, and any research assistance will be credited in the publication.
With thanks for your consideration––
Sincerely,
Nelly Lambert, PhD
Assistant Professor of Literature, Bard Early College Baltimore
