Three Hearts, 26.2 Miles: Xerxes, Zane, and Zara’s Journey to the Finish Line
Xerxes Commissariat, President of the Zoroastrian Association of California (ZAC), and VP FEZANA along with his children, Zane and Zara Commissariat of Irvine, California proudly crossed the finish line of the 26.2 mile Los Angeles Marathon on March 8, 2026, achieving a goal they had set for themselves when they first began their running journey. The annual race, one of Southern California’s most celebrated endurance events, drew over 27,000 runners from around the world and took participants on a scenic course through the heart of Los Angeles.
This year’s marathon was particularly demanding, as runners faced unusually warm temperatures, making it one of the hottest race days in the event’s history. Despite the challenging conditions, the Commissariat trio remained determined and upbeat throughout the course, soaking in the excitement and energy that defines the marathon experience.
Adding a meaningful Parsi touch to the occasion, Xerxes and Zane ran in their sudrahs during the race, proudly representing their heritage while taking part in the event.
Completing the marathon was a proud accomplishment and a moment of celebration for Xerxes, Zane, and Zara. It stands as a milestone they will always remember.

Congratulations & Jubilations on your amazing achievement, especially running in your Sadra!!🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕👏👏👏👍👍
Heartiest Congratulations Xerxes, Zane n Zara
