Taft-Yazd-Mehr Izad Jashn

Very interesting pictures of the Mehr Izad Jashn ceremony being performed and celebrated by our co-religionists in Iran. Note in one of the photographs- the 14th one-one participant sitting on the chair is holding up his forefinger and the person next to him is doing likewise. (Also similar to the Tibetan practice ).That is the equivalent practice of our mobeds holding up a single flower reciting the phrase–” Ahurahe Mazdao raevato–etc.”,just before the “Afrinami “ portion of the prayers , which the late Jeevanji Modi has described as the Avesta “God save the King “.
