2010 YA @ the UN:
International Perspectives for 16-24 year-old Youth Leaders

The Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations, pictured above, has always been about practical information. That is why the Assembly is over-registered year after year. We hope you choose to register soon; space is very limited in 2010 due to UN renovations and the YA is almost completely full up!
The registration deadline for normal registrations and accommodations requests has been extended, from June 17, 2010 to July 9. This is to accommodate last minute visa application appointments at embassies throughout the world; this extension applies to all registrants.

Even with this extension, registration numbers are almost to capacity and individuals and small groups are urged to apply today (all large group registration is now fully closed).

There is still time to join 600 young delegates, ages 16-24, from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States, who will participate in the events at UN Headquarters this August 4 – 6, 2010. Take advantage of the opportunities before it is too late!

OPPORTUNITY #2
SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY: POST-YA, August 7 – 11, 2010.
August 7 – 8, at Pace University’s Downtown Manhattan campus and
August 9 and 10 at FDU’s Metropolitan NJ campus.

Join hundreds of youth from around the world who have decided to stay on, perform some volunteer service, and enjoy new Friendships. Resident at Pace and Fairleigh Dickinson Universities.
Right after the YA, join hundreds of youth on a special volunteer program organized by the Mayor’s Office of the City of New York. Then enjoy a full day of fun in New York with many of those you met at the YA!
