FEZANA Brings Youth and Global Voices to the United Nations’ 70th Commission on the Status of Women

Follow up to the presentation at the Global Working Group meeting held at the West End Hotel, Mumbai
in January 2026, the following for your information and wider dissemination to our world wide Zarathusti diaspora as deemed appropriate.
The focus of our participantion at the UN is an emphasis on empowering the youth of our next generation.
At the 70th Commission on the Status of Women in March 2026 the focus is also on women’s empowerment .
Of particular note this year is the success of
Freyaz Shroff, a past participant of our UN NGO team who has launched her own Non Governmental Organization called the KurNiv Foundation that addresses poverty reduction in the slums of Mumbai through education.
KurNiv Foundation has been granted recognition by the UN system and we are happy to partner with her initiative and dynamic team in India
