Subject: URGENT APPEAL FROM PARSEE ANJUMAN OOTY

My dear fellow Zoroastrians,

First of all, a belated Navroze mubarak to you all.

I am sure that a lot of you, know  of the Parsee Zoroastrian Anjuman in Ooty (The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu). For those of you who don’t,it is one of the oldest Anjumans in South India, dating back to 1847.This Anjuman serves the entire Zoroastrian community, South of Madras.

A lot of our land had been grabbed due to in-complete fencing.We are still fighting the case, which has proved to be a financial drainer to the Anjuman. At the same time, we also constructed a boundary wall around the property, which again depleted our already dwindling finances. The Zoroastrian population has dwindled considerably as well.  As a result, our annual subscription though raised, has proved to be in-sufficient.

I now appeal to you all, to contribute generously to the Anjuman.  If each of us could contribute something, we should be able to give a new lease of financial life to our beloved Anjuman.

Please show your Zoroastrian generosity now, to render this help. I suggested the idea to post this e-mail on this group, with the certainty that our community would definitely rise to the occasion.
