Dear Friends,

A Zoroastrian Panorama – an exhibition showcasing the history of the Zoroastrian religion from the ancient  Iranian empire upto the landing of the Parsees in India, and featuring prominent personalities of this small but vibrant community that has contributed immensely to the development of India, will be held at Albless Baug, Charni Road, Mumbai, from 22nd to 25th April, 2010.

This Exhibition will also showcase topics that are of interest to Zoroastrians and non-Zoroastrians alike viz, the story of Prophet Zarthushtra, Rites and Rituals of Zoroastrians, Models of places of worship and final resting, etc.  Audio Visual shows and snippets of the famous Tele-Serial, Humata Hukhta Hvarshta – Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds- will also be showed and CDs and DVDs will also be available.

The Foundation is well known for this Tele-Serial “HUMATA HUKHTA HVARSHTA” – focusing on Ancient Culture & Heritage, which showcases Zoroastrian Values, Culture and way of life. It creates awareness of our background, instills a sense of pride of belonging and motivates the youngsters to become better Zoroastrians.

The future community welfare projects of the Foundation are- An ambulance with an ICU and Critical Care facility for all communities, a Medical Diagnostic Centre offering facilities at subsidised rates, Free Medical Camps for the weaker sections of society, as well as present projects,  like – helping destitute women and children, giving medical aid to the needy, awarding educational scholarships, distributing exercise books to poor students, a Talent Bank including training and counselling for  our talented youngsters etc.

In this Exhibition –“A Zoroastrian Panorama” every evening from 6.00 p.m. onwards, there will be cultural events pulling crowds to participate and view. Also there will be stalls of different items like – Zoroastrian         Artefacts, Torans, Lamps, Costumes, Jewellery, Parzor crafts products, CDs & DVDs as well as Food products etc.

ENTRY IS FREE and open to ALL COMMUNITIES irrespective of cast, creed or religion. The exhibition will be inaugurated at 6.30 p.m. on 22nd April, 2010 & will be open from 11.30 am to 8.30 pm on 23rd to 25th April, 2010. It is open to all communities for viewing as well as participation. The last day will be a Grand Finale, ending with a contributory dinner-  Lagan Nu Bhonu – (Jamva Chalo Ji).
