IUU Updates – Arun Jaitley to be Chief Guest
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has regretted his inability to be present at Udvada on 27th December 2015.
We now confirm that Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs, Information & Broadcasting, Government of India will be our Chief Guest and Mr. Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus, Tata Sons will be felicitated as the ‘Icon of Success’ on 27th December 2015.
We are also pleased to inform that Shri Saurabh Patel, Hon’ble Minister for Energy & Petrochemicals, Civil Aviation & Tourism, Government of Gujarat will be present on December 25, 2015 to inaugurate the commencement of the Iranshah Udvada Utsav celebrations.
It is very sad n unfortunate that our pm will not be able to attend at the last minute, after all the program was made especially by him to visit our heritage site, weare very disappointed that he does not believe us to be important enough for him to come.after all we too are a miniority community and never made any demands on the govt,now its a big let down for our parsi community.
We welcome mr. Jaitley, but pm should have come even if it was for just a short while, after all he has all the resources, airplanes etc at his disposal, not attending this event is very demoralising for the community.
