This Agiyari is very near and dear to me – this is where I became Murtab in 1957 under my father who was the manager of the Agiyari and Fardunji was the Panthaky. The benches seem to be the same as in my time – the gates were half the size and the images of the Lamasus didn’t exist. As they say – A picture is worth a thousand words and this picture certainly brings back a thousand memories.
