After inheriting old borders and two authentic hand embroidered Gara sarees during her wedding, Zenobia knew that this beautiful art needed to be saved. Being extremely passionate about Authentic Parsi Gara hand embroidery since her childhood, she finally decided to pursue her passion after having three children. She soon realized that the market was flooded with cheap imitations of the genuine Gara sarees. These imitations are palmed off under the pretext of contemporary art/embroidery. Unfortunately, people think the Gara embroidery comes mainly from the design, but it’s all about the technique, finish and quality of the embroidery. 

At ZS Designs they make it a point to create awareness and make sure that all their products are done using pure silk skeins and the small needle technique with an extremely high refinement which makes it difficult to identify the right side from the flip side of the fabric. Just like the Gara sarees which were originally made in china. Zenobia began by customizing Authentic hand embroidered Gara sarees for women. Slowly, she started customizing everything.
