Varun Balsara is a graduate of Warwick Business School, specializing in business and technology. ConnectUs successfully helped over 500 students forge meaningful connections and was eventually acquired by Warwick University, where it became an integral part of Enactus.

Following ConnectUs, Varun created The Human Entrepreneur, a podcast exploring the human side of entrepreneurship. Under his leadership, the podcast soared to Apple’s Top 20 Podcasts within just two years, rapidly gaining a loyal audience.

Varun’s contributions at Warwick earned him the prestigious Outstanding Student Contribution Award (OSCA). He also served as an Innovation Fellow at the university, where he championed entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives across campus.

Currently, Varun is the founder of Nova Technologies, a platform utilizing AI agents to revolutionize service commerce, often referred to as the “Shopify for service businesses.” In less than three years, he has scaled the company to over 1,000 customers and has attracted VC and angel investment.

A passionate speaker, Varun’s TED talk, What Impact Do You Want to Have on the World?, has garnered over 2,000 views. He has also been featured on multiple podcasts, including the Millennial Investing Podcast, where he shares his entrepreneurial journey and insights alongside other leading experts.

Varun’s achievements have been widely recognized, including receiving the recent WZCC Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
