Every year I visit USA as I watched my Grand-daughters growing up from birth to High School. One problem has plagued me for years. During NCC my Subedar Major had medal strips which he said he received in Eritria. We were not taught anything in School about the WWII. But recently I learnt that we Indians had 4 million during this period. So I visited the Imperial Museum of War at London.
We had the honor of meeting Commodore (retd) Bhada, along with Commodore (retd) N N Rao, at the Navy Day in Mumbai, in Dec 2024.
WOW!! This is Amazing History!! It’s a wonder that Our own Parsi Field Marshall Sam
Maneckshaw did NOT speak of this Illustrious Parsee Battalion! Very Proud to hear of this Parsee History and i shall make sure to visit this Cenotaph at the Colony mentioned in December 25 when i next visit Mumbai!! 🙏🙏💕
