Dr. Rustom Kanga lives the tagline “Connecting Invention, Enterprise, and Service” through work that links knowledge, customers, and community. He advances intellectual value when he leads early AI efforts at DEC, co-founded iOmniscient, a multi-sensory AI based analytics company, and continues to mentor practitioners through talks and writing. Rustom and his colleagues create economic value when they translate patents into deployments for airports, rail, and urban services across many countries, and when they commit to outcomes that reduce cost for customers. Rustom strengthens social value when he and his teams help public leaders raise standards for public safety and service reliability.  WZCC recognized his impact by conferring the Outstanding Zarathushti Entrepreneur award in 2020.  As an Ervad, he aligns action with Zoroastrian doctrine. He pursues Humata through thoughtful inquiry, he practices Hukhta through integrity in speech, and he fulfills Hvarshta through ethical entrepreneurship that serves communities. Rustom credits his wife, Dr. Marlene Kanga AO, as a partner who challenges his thinking, grounds his decisions in ethics, and sustains his discipline over decades of entrepreneurship
