The new Board of Directors of The Zoroastrian Co-operative Bank Limited has been elected unopposed for a five-year term starting from April 2026. Further, the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Bank have also been elected unopposed. The entire new Board consists of Professionals like Solicitors, Chartered Accountants, Bankers and Educationist. Directors of the Erstwhile Board, who had completed ten years, did not file their nominations in compliance with the amendment of The Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002.

Mr. Homa D. Petit who has been a Director of Bank for around 44 years earlier, has been elected as the Chairman of the Bank. He brings with him vast experience in legal field as well as banking.

Mr. Percy B. Chhapgar, the new Vice Chairman, has been a Director of the Bank and also the Chairman of the Board of Management. He is an expert in Taxation and Corporate Affairs.

The Members, Customers, Staff and the community at large, have widely welcomed the unopposed election of new Board. The outgoing Chairman, Mr. Yazdi B. Tantra congratulated and welcomed the new team of Directors led by Mr. Homa D. Petit and expressed his thanks to Members, Customers and Staff of the Bank. for their support during his tenure. Mr. Yazdi Tantra urged all to continue to patronize the bank and support it whole heartedly.

The new Board assumes charge of the Bank at a time when the Bank is entering Centenary year in June 2026 and is ready to scale up the Business riding on strong technology platforms built by the Bank over past few years. Zoroastrian Bank has strong financials and impeccable Asset Quality with CRAR of 19.97 %, Gross NPAs around 0.12%, Net NPA NIL and profitable track record. Bank has designed many Customer friendly Loan products offered at very competitive interest rates.
