“In my view, this photograph, time and again is a stark reminder of a long-standing manoeuvribility in which how recognition is EITHER too often appropriated by those who did not earn it OR humbly succumbed to by those who did earn it.

This has been a long-standing repeat pattern in which individuals who played little or no role in the achievement position themselves prominently beside those whose dedication, integrity, and hard work made the success possible.

Rather than celebrating the genuine contributors, the image appears to blur the distinction between earned accomplishment and opportunistic association. The True Credit belongs to those whose actions, commitment, and achievements brought about these results, not to those who merely seek visibility in their aftermath.

Such self-promotion diminishes the efforts of those whose character, sacrifice, and accomplishment were the real driving forces behind the success being celebrated.

Credit should rest and be seen with the builders, not the bystanders.”
