Sari exhibition in Pakistan by a Parsi Indian

An unusual Saris exhibition by an innovative Indian businessman

“In the first trip, I brought 20 saris and sold 18 in just four days. It encouraged me and now I bring more stock. This time I have brought around 150 saris, besides suits,” he explained. The limited stock, he claimed, not only covered his expenses but also earned him profit. The businessman said he had opened no franchise in Pakistan because he feared his designs could be copied.

He said business between India and Pakistan could be enhanced tremendously. “I also buy some items here and sell them in India,” he said. “Pakistani designers’ work is also liked in India,” he said, adding that a couple of designers had been making good business across the border.
