Unity Walk
Join us Sunday, Sept. 9 for the Unity Walk which, in the words of Rabbi Bruce Lustig in the Washington Post, “celebrates religious diversity and fosters connection, friendship and community” (Post Local, Sept. 6).
The Unity Walk begins promptly at 1:30 pm at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St. NW, at Massachusetts Ave., Washington, DC 20016.
REGISTER today here so we can get an accurate count. If you make a donation, you receive a bumper sticker at registration check-in! Give $30 or more and receive a free Unity Walk t-shirt! Check-in at registration table from 12:30-2:00 pm.
Please bring new or gently used shoes for local shelters to Washington Hebrew Congregation. All ages are needed including children’s sizes and men’s dress shoes for job interviews. From 12:30, we also invite you to help assemble snack packages for the homeless of Friendship Place.
Please forward this to your family, friends and community!
