Tata Nano to be launched in USA ?
Tata plans to export to the U.S. a no-frills Nano, the world’s cheapest car, within the next three years.
USA TODAY says that it’s currently about $3,500 in India but would cost about $10,000 in America and even at that price would still be the cheapest new car available in the U.S.

Lower Price in the below $8000 range and safety features in the front are imminent for Nano to capture the market. Americans are more safety oriented than people think. Also they want comfort. Small cars need to be extra ordinary in performance to satisfy the rugged highway needs. American consumer is a well aware consumer compared to the – he bought so I bought, type of mentality of Indian consumer. Hence, safety at 70 miles per hour, longevity, trouble free use, fuel efficiency, and comfort are all critical factors. Also American consumers prefer an engine design that is more simple and easy to repair.
