London Underground Poster: The Everlasting Flame Exhibition
Dear ZTFE Members & Well-wishers
Many of you this morning must have been surprised to see the attached poster on London Underground stations advertising The Everlasting Flame: Zoroastrianism in History and Imagination.
Later this evening many of you will witness the launch of The Everlasting Flame: Zoroastrianism in History and Imagination. It will be the first time in the history of this country that an exhibition has been mounted on Zoroastrianism.
ZTFE thanks all our donors who heeded to our appeal that enabled the ZTFE to meet its pledge with SOAS to core fund the exhibition. ZTFE went further and sponsored the exhibition poster campaign on London Underground stations and also the exhibition catalogue, which is dedicated in the memory of our benefactors and patrons the Zartoshty Brothers.
We at the ZTFE are delighted that Homa Zartoshty has made a special trip to London to be with us for the opening of the Everlasting Flame Exhibition. We are also certain that the Fravashis of the Zartoshty Brothers will be with us tonight at SOAS participating in the proceedings. May the generosity of the Zartoshty Brothers continue to inspire all of us to donate to our community.
There are 150 posters randomly located for 8 weeks on various London Underground Stations, mainly in zones 1, 2 and 3. Some of you may wish to locate the stations where all the 150 posters are located and take photos and forward the list with photos to the ZTFE Secretariat by post or email on secretary@ztfe.com. The first three to spot all 150 posters will receive a copy of the Everlasting Flame catalogue.
