PHASE ll ENGRAVED BRICK PATIO FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN

Your Fund Raising Committee has worked hard to identify a suitable new Fund Raising initiative to support Phase II. The plan involves constructing a Brick Paver Patio (70’ X 20’) on the West side of the Main Hall. It will utilize special permeable brick pavers such that it does not impact our property’s Impervious to Pervious surface ratio. We have received approval from the Village to proceed with construction of the patio.
The Recognition Committee and DMZT Trustees have also approved the Fundraising Raising committee’s plan. Highlights of the proposed plan are as follows –
Bricks will be available at the following donation levels with donor’s name engraved onto it.
SMALL 8”X4” Engraved Brick with up to 3 Lines:         $1,000 each (shown below)
MEDIUM 8”x8” Engraved Brick with up to 4 Lines:       $2,000 each
LARGE 12”X12” Engraved Brick with up to 5 Lines:     $5,000 each

Note: due to space constraints and to maintain formatting consistency, engraving shall be restricted to a maximum of 18 characters per line, for example:
1.      John & Jane Doe
2.      Adam, Cathy
& Robert
(“In memory of” or “In honor of”, shall be accommodated if requested)

Donors ordering 3 bricks or more shall be eligible for a 5% discount.

Please note that currently pledged amounts cannot be transferred / applied to this new fundraiser. However, all monies donated to this Phase ll plan will be added to the donor total to determine the donation level for the Donor Recognition Board.

PLEASE SEE DETAILS AND COMPLETE THE BRICK CAMPAIGN FORM TO ORDER YOUR ENGRAVED BRICKS

IN THE WORKS –
Plans for Phase ll B – a Solar Energy System are also under way. It is a general feeling in the community that Zoroastrianism embraces “Green Environmental” concepts and several members would support this separate effort.

We are thrilled to share that there is a seed donor who has committed $10,000 to kick off this initiative, estimated cost of which is $75-100,000. Our goal is to have the estimated cost of the project collected by late 2016, when we will be ready to install the Solar Energy System for our new Dar-e-Mehr.

Your Fund Raising Committee is excited to start work on Phase II and looks to you for your continued enthusiastic support to help make our Dar-e-Mehr our home away from home.

Sincerely,
Your Fund Raising Committee
