Four On Eleven – The Fading Glory of Parsi Cricket
The Parsi community has made an incredible mark on the game of cricket, with a rich and storied legacy that dates back to the early days of the sport in India. Parsi cricketers played a pioneering role in nurturing and popularizing the game, producing some iconic figures. However, over time, the Parsi community’s influence on the sport has gradually declined, reflecting broader changes. While their contributions remain important to the history of Indian cricket, the community’s active participation on the field has diminished, but is there still hope left?

The Documentary is presented from the Point of View of the Mumbai’s Historical Parsee Gymkhana and through its lens, the subject unfolds.
As a Cricket Enthusiast, and a Film Student, this untold Piece of Cricket History was concieved as a Final Diploma Film, at Xavier Institute of Communication, Mumbai. Although, constant effort was invested to present the story to a wider audience and on a broader scale.
Inevitably, the nature of such a project means that there will be stories left untold, perspectives left unexplored, and individuals left unmentioned. To those who may feel their contributions were overlooked, I extend my sincere apologies.
