Dear Reader,
It gives us great pleasure in bringing this small booklet which shares the knowledge of the Gathas of Zarathustra for our global Zarathusti diaspora.

The original Rojinda Gathas book was created as a tribute to the late Dasturji Ervad Nadarsha Navroji Aibara by his worthy son, Ervad Yazdi Aibara, Panthaki of the Karani Agiary at Cusrow Baug and their family. This book was first published in memory of Katy and Rusi Mistry

It is due to Ervad Yazdi’s encouragement that this translation and transliteration in English has been realized, based on the writings Of two erudite scholars:-

• The Religion of Zarathustra by Dr l. J. S. Taraporewala –
• The Philosophical, Spiritual and Ethical Interpretation of the Gathas of Holy Zarathustra by Framroz Rustomjee

  The generosity of the Trustees of the Kookadaru Trust in facilitating this publication is most gratefully acknowledged.
