The practise of homosexuality is severely condemned in Zoroastrian Scriptures like The Holy Vendidad.
The Vendidad is what one should refer when seeking answers on such topics, not the Gathas, which are just in general poetry form, and cannot be misconstrued to give a green signal to homosexuality.
It is irrelevant to the discussion whether the Prophet Zarathushtra composed the Vendidad Himself or His spiritually illumined disciples did.
Homosexuality is called a kunmarz gunah (sin).
The author has used a clever ploy to attempt to paint the Vendidad as a latter day Scripture and has foolishly tried to search for answers to such topics in the Gathas, which are not supposed to give any idea of homosexuality.
We Zoroastrians respect all our Zoroastrian Scriptures and the Holy Vendidad is no exception.
These Books are our guide to Eternal Life and we won’t tolerate such nonsense from the so-called scholars of the religion.
