The J N Tata Endowment Scholarship for Fall 2026-Spring 2027

About the Program

The J N Tata Endowment extends financial assistance to Indian students who wish to pursue Postgraduate/Doctoral/
Postdoctoral studies overseas.

Eligibility

• Open for all Indian citizens under 45 years old as of June 30, 2026.
  • Graduatesofa recognised Indian universitywith at least marks on average in their undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
  • Candidates who have completed atleast one undergraduate degree OR those who are in the final yearof any undergraduate programme at a recognised university/college/institution in India.
  • Candidates admitted course recognised as a Graduate Program (postgraduate in Indian terminology).
  • Candidates already pursuing postgraduate studies abroad may apply at the end Of their first year or the Start Of the second, provided at least 12 months of study remain at the time of the award typically in July).
