GCZT announces its first, free, group insurance scheme!

The Global Council of Zoroastrians Trust (GCZT) is pleased to announce the launch of its first free group medical insurance scheme for economically vulnerable members of the Parsi, Irani Zoroastrian community in India. Under this initiative, 234 beneficiaries will receive complimentary medical insurance with a floating cover of ₹5 lakhs per family.
The policy provides both cashless treatment and reimbursement benefits wherever cashless facilities are unavailable. Coverage for all selected beneficiaries is effective immediately.
A dedicated committee of GCZT Trustees finalized the list of deserving recipients based on recommendations from reputable community trusts and a careful review of each applicant’s financial circumstances. Beneficiaries are being individually notified of their inclusion in the scheme.
This important healthcare initiative has been made possible through the generous contributions of
- Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla,
- N.M. Wadia Charities, and
- Sir J.J. Trust,
whose support has enabled GCZT to extend meaningful assistance to community members in need.

Yes would like to loin
Much appreciated. Would like to apply for the facility
Hello and thanks for the great initiative for our community. I hereby would want to enroll my father for the free medical policy as he lives on a retirement pension and has a medical policy of 3 lacs from the government. In today’s date an additional 5 lacs will make a huge difference as my father is 79 and had just been hospitalised last week. During COVID time I lost my job and that has added to the financial burden. I would request for this medical policy for my father with folded hands. Please let know how to apply and I will do it immediately. Thanks
