Parsi Gara by Zenobia Davar – New Delhi

Sharing something very close to my heart ❤️

For the first time in Delhi, The Kunj brings you an opportunity to experience the beauty of authentic hand-embroidered Parsi Gara sarees, a rare and exquisite art form that is slowly fading, especially in the face of rampant replicas being passed off as Garas.

It has been a privilege to be a part of this and to share our story, craftsmanship, and the soul behind each piece.

I’ll be there every day from 11am to 8pm until the 2nd of June, and would love for you to come by and experience this beautiful art up close.

Hi, I would like to share a little about our recent visit to Delhi!
We were honored by the Government of India to showcase, demonstrate, and teach the beautiful, endangered Art of Traditional, Authentic Parsi Gara embroidery at The Kunj, New Delhi.

It was an incredible experience being recognized on a national stage by the Ministry of Textiles (Handicrafts) and connecting with everyone who truly valued Traditional, hand-made heritage over machine and Aari embroidered imitations.

We’ve put together a captivating short Reel featuring special moments of this beautiful journey, and we would love for you to take a minute to experience being a part of our journey.

Thank you so much for your constant support in keeping this beautiful Traditional Art alive! 🙏❤️
