ROHINTON RIVETNA serves as Global Founder and President Emeritus of the World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce. Guided by his belief in “Coming Together in Hamazori,” he convenes people, builds consensus, and helps them translate shared aspirations into institutions. He spearheaded the founding of the Zoroastrian Association of Metropolitan Chicago, served as the founding president of FEZANA, helped people establish WZCC, and helped bring people together to build the Arbab Rustom Guiv Dar e Mehr in Chicago. Through WZCC, the Zarathushti Entrepreneurship Development Foundation, and other initiatives, he encourages networking, enterprise, and community welfare.
ROSHAN RIVETNA earned a master’s degree in nuclear physics and pursued a scientific career at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai and Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago. She brings scientific inquiry, editorial leadership, and cultural stewardship to her commitment to perpetuate Zoroastrianism in the diaspora. She served as Editor of FEZANA Journal, conducted demographic research, and published introductory books on Zoroastrianism. Through matchmaking, her Parsi Mithai Shop, floral hars, and chalk torans, she helps people sustain family relationships, customs, and cultural memory.
TOGETHER, ROHINTON AND ROSHAN act from a shared commitment to perpetuate the Zarathushti religion and strengthen the community, but they contribute in different ways. Rohinton convenes people, builds consensus, and helps people establish organizations and physical infrastructure. Roshan creates and shares knowledge, preserves religious and cultural memory, and helps people sustain family and community connections. By combining these abilities, they help people create intellectual, economic, and social value beyond the resources they control and prepare younger Zarathushtis for purposeful service.
WZCC Mission – Defines PURPOSE: Provide an opportunity for those who seek to create intellectual, economic and social value beyond resources controlled and maximize the nexus between the three values for sustainable development for the good of the Zarathushti and other communities.
