Every year, in an effort to raise funds for their respective Schools, our students, aged 12 to 16 years from our Mumbai Secondary Schools are committed to participating in the Standard Chartered Bank’s 6 km Dream’ Run to be held in Mumbai on 18th January,2009, the 12 Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Schools presently managed under the auspices of Sir J. J. Parsee Benevolent Institution are located in Mumbai, Valsad, Navsari and Surat. These Schools cater, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, to the academic requirements of­ over 50OO boys and girls, from various strata of society. The efforts of SJJPBI to promote the cause of education have, over the years, been widely accIaimed by the Departments of Education of their respective Governments of Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Though the Schools managed by SJJPBI are equipped with Science and Computer Laboratories and Audio-Visual Rooms, it is an on-going process for us to continuously strive to upgrade and, improve the academic activities, in order to ensure that’ education is imparted on modern lines in pleasant surroundings and using state of, art teaching aids.

We sincerely appeal to all charitable-minded individuals and corporations to encourage our students by pledging your valuable contribution in support of their endeavour In recognition of all contributions exceeding RS.3000/- (Rupees: Three Thousand Only), our students will be happy to carry a flag or banner bearing the donor’s message or logo, throughout the course of the Dream Run.
