Glencoe loses Keki Bhote
Glencoe loses active volunteer,
businessman Keki Bhote
Keki R. Bhote, one of the more active local volunteers in Glencoe’s history, died Tuesday. He was 88.
Bhote died peacefully, at home, in the last full week of his term on the Glencoe Village Board.
“He felt very strongly about social justice, doing the right thing, being fair to people, but he was not a soft-headed guy,” said his friend Stanley Weinberger, another very active long-time Glencoe resident. “He was a nice person without being a patsy.”
