Dolly Dastoor was born in Mumbai, India and moved to Montreal, Canada in 1973 after spending ten years in Nigeria at the University of Ibadan. There, she was a Senior Research Fellow in Psychiatry and the project coordinator for the World Health Organization’s schizophrenia project. Dolly earned her PhD later in life and has made significant contributions to dementia care.
