On April 27th, World Zoroastrian Chamber of Commerce and the Zoroastrian Association of Greater New York are co-sponsoring “Conversations with Tenaz Dubash.”

Please join us for a screening of Tenaz Dubash’s documentary film, “Crisis in Faith: Zoroastrians Today.” The film will be followed by a brief question and answer session along with some insights on how Tenaz started her career.

“Crisis in Faith: Zoroastrians Today” is a personal journey about an American Zoroastrian filmmaker’s quest for the truth around the controversies facing followers of her faith today, focusing on the dwindling number of Zoroastrians worldwide and the treatment of Zoroastrians as a religious minority in Iran. The film was shot in Boston, Chicago, Iran, India, New York, and Vancouver.
Clips of the film have been shown on CNN International. It has been screened at Harvard University in April 2008 and was mentioned in the New York Times.

ZAC will be honored to have friends from FEZANA and all the FEZANA associations across the USA and Canada, come and share in our festivities.

We will be honored if all those who were with us at the inauguration of the Darbe Mehr 25 years ago, come and share this happy occasion with us.

We will be honored if all those 17 mobeds who participated in the Inaugural Jashan in 1983,  mobeds from across North America, and especially the Next Generation of Mobeds, will honor us with your presence at the Grand Jashan.

SATURDAY 5:30 pm “SILVER JUBILEE GALA” will be a ‘black tie and gara’ affair showcasing our history, heritage and culture.  The unforgettable evening of feasting and festivities, will include:
     - Opening Ceremony;
     - Multi-media presentation featuring all ZAC presidents;
     - Cutting of the Silver Jubilee Cake;
     - Indian and Persian dances;
     - Fashion Parade of “Parsi and Persian dress through the Centuries;”
     - Grand Persian and Parsi banquet;
     - Music and dancing.

SUNDAY 11:00 - 5:00 pm  “HONORING THE PAST, BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE” will include:
     - Grand Jashan;
     -  Luncheon buffet; 
     - Recognitions and Honors for our Mobeds, our Next Generation, our elders; 
     - Sharing our Vision for religio-cultural infrastructure for ZAC and FEZANA;
     - Musical skit “Story of ZAC”; 
     - Game show by ZAC youth;
     - Songs by ZAC choir.

MONDAY 9 am - 3 pm: “CELEBRATING ZARATHUSHTI BUSINESS & ENTERPRISE,” organized by WZCC, will include:
     - Showcasing of Zarathushti Business and Enterprise.
     - Luncheon and keynote speaker.
     - Inspiring speakers.

Our Hospitality Committee will make every effort to make your stay comfortable, with airport pickups, transportation and discounted rates at a nearby hotel or with host families.
